Broadcast Workflow Automation
Two functioning Premiere Pro extensions that work from the production’s own brief and edit. One builds the broadcast and social media versions; the other completes the music reporting.
Together they take repetitive steps out of the edit and the paperwork that follows it — while the editor reviews and stays in control.
One brief in. Four finished versions out.
- Three aspect ratios from the same master
- Titles and end boards filled in from the brief
- Letterboxing measured and removed for each format
- Every version checked before it is exported
- Runs inside Premiere on the edit station — no media leaves the building
Every cue found. Every version timed.
- Reads the edit of every version in one pass
- Finds each music cue and how long it runs in each version
- Composer and title taken from the music files’ own metadata
- Voice-over and sound effects set aside, not reported
- Fills in the broadcaster’s own reporting form, plus a CSV
Both tools are in testing — developed and tested using material from a previous television production. Live production testing is the next step.
